Drafts under review
Mark a version as DRAFT before circulating it, so no one signs the wrong one by mistake.
Write CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT or any text of your own across every page. Choose the size, the opacity and the angle, and see it on each page before downloading. All inside your browser: nothing is uploaded, and we never see the document.
You can also drag and drop a file anywhere on this page.•PDF · up to 100 MB
Nobody writes CONFIDENTIAL on a page that is not confidential. The word is a warning about what is inside, and sending that file to a stranger’s server to have the warning printed on it is a contradiction the whole category lives with.

CONFIDENTIAL, INTERNAL USE ONLY or a client name, written across every page at once.
Portfolios, proposals and reports sent for evaluation, marked with your name.
Drop the PDF anywhere on this page, or use the button. The pages appear as thumbnails.
Then pick the size, the opacity, the colour and whether it runs diagonally or straight across.
The text appears on every thumbnail. Export when it looks the way you want.
The watermark is written into the pages inside the tab. Nothing travels over the network, and you can verify it in the browser network panel.
No service name, no logo and no advertising page. The only thing added to the file is what you typed.
Light enough to read through, or strong enough that nobody misses it. Three levels, two colours.
It runs corner to corner instead of a fixed 45°, so it sits right on both portrait and landscape pages.
A long phrase is shrunk until it fits the page instead of running off the edge where you would only notice after downloading.
One text, applied to the whole document — including pages you added from another file in the same session.
A document marked CONFIDENTIAL announces its own sensitivity. Here it is opened, marked and saved without leaving your machine.
Reading the PDF, drawing the text and assembling the final file all happen in JavaScript, inside the tab.
There is no server keeping a copy, because there is no upload. Close the tab and everything leaves memory.
No sign-up, no email, no daily limit tied to a login.
It warns, it does not protect. A watermark is drawn into the page content, and anyone determined enough can remove it with the right software — that is true of every watermark, in every tool. Use it to say how a document should be treated, not to stop someone who has decided otherwise.
Not in this tool, which writes text. If you need an image on the pages, the signing tool places a drawn image wherever you choose, on the pages you select.
The watermark goes on every exported page. To mark only part of a document, extract those pages first with the split tool and watermark the result.
The Latin alphabet with accents, cedillas, dashes and currency symbols — everything the standard PDF fonts cover. Alphabets such as Cyrillic, Greek and Chinese are not supported, and the tool tells you which characters it cannot write while you type, not after you export.
Over it, with the opacity you chose. On the lighter settings the text underneath stays perfectly readable; on the strongest one the mark is clearly dominant.
No. Open the network panel (F12) before exporting: no request carries the document. It is read, changed and saved in your browser.
Reorder, rotate and delete pages with a preview.
Number the pages in the corner you choose.
Draw your signature and place it on the pages.
Separate pages or extract a range.
All processing happens in your browser. No file is ever uploaded to a server.
